It was great, worth seeing. It was exciting. I really enjoyed the plot, and I don't want to spoil it, but the plot twists are great. I wonder how it compares to The Illusionist. Apparently, the 2nd time is even better, so I might have to catch it on DVD. It was very uplifting. Highly recommended. The acting was terrific, particularly the look of Will Smith getting happyness. I also thought the cameo of Chris Gardner was cool. I didn't much care for it, it was awful.We also saw Noam Toran's Desire Management, which was pretty good as a provocative piece on how products can be presented in movies.  We also saw Object for Lonely Men, that he made while at the RCA. I think I saw it when I was visiting Ian...   The best part is the creativity of the piece. I have to admit I was a little confused by what really happened in the end, well not really, but the exact order of things, and Indy set it straight. Timeline was entertaining, but as with all time travel movies, there were flaws like what about the government, press, etc. Also hard to change the past and not have it affect the present... and they definitely changed the past. It was pretty good, I enjoyed seeing the battles, and the graceful action shots. Without the high expectations, it was quite enjoyable.  I loved the mech warrior fight scenes (the general is the most kick-ass mech warrior ever), and the awesome ways the Sentinels moved. The movie was awesome. A little campy, but the action was good, and so was the plot. I liked the idea of a blind samurai who kicks everyone's ass. I also liked the "women" in the movie, and the interesting character development. It was funny, sad, happy, and complex, all rolled into one. It was okay. The maritime fighting strategy stuff was cool, and so were the ships. The captain ahab drama stuff wasn't so good. It was AWESOME. I liked all the characters, and the satire was very appropriate for our time. It was okay. The funny sidekick dude was a little annoying, but the action was okay. This is a "filler" movie, before the real good movies come out... or just cause we were bored.
